SINGLE-PLAYER | 3RD PERSON NARRATIVE | INTERACTABLE ENVIRONMENT | STEALTH OPTIONS | EXPLORATION
This is a mission designed for a narrative-based 3rd-person action adventure single-player experience. The overall goal is to locate your friends who have been taken hostage, but you will first navigate through overgrown areas of forest that lead you to an old lumber mill that is being used as an outpost by and enemy group just outside of town.

This level features an interactable dynamic element to progress forward, where you orient a logging machine arm full of logs to act as a bridge across a divide. You then have some room to explore the area and be rewarded with additional loot and supplies. You then balance walk up and across the machine arm itself and leap up onto a broken bridge where you will encounter enemies and begin the second beat. You'll also be reminded of your destination in the background vista.

From here there are multiple ways in and around the lumber yard that allows for player choice and expression. Stealth options are promoted for less confrontational players, and plenty of cover for the engagement to unfold into combat if the players presence is discovered. Ultimately the player finds themselves in the middle of this outpost completely surrounded by enemies patrolling and must search around to locate a way out.
