HIGHGUARD

This place is ancient, yet untouched.

Highguard was my latest finished level for Halo 5: Guardians. It replicates a classic forerunner art style, while maintaining a unique and original layout. This project took me months from start to finish, and I am incredibly pleased with how it turned out. From casual to professional gameplay, Highguard has proven time and time again that it rightfully belongs in the sandbox.

Recently featured in the Forgehub 2v2 Tournament grand finals, with a $1,000 prize pool.

My design goals were to create dueling side structures, that force players back into the middle of the map. Every spot on the map has a significant counter position, that allows for coordinated teams to effectively push forward and dominate their enemy. This design rewards aggressive gameplay strategies, and keeps players cycling throughout the entire level.
