DEADLOCK

A large battlefield full of twists and turns nestled between the mountains. Each team occupies elevated outposts encased with retaining wall barriers that have outfitted the terrain. A defensive shade turret protects each base from incoming vehicles. The only refuge from the vehicles on this map are on top of the few structures throughout, or in the cave near the mountain side. Expansive sightlines allow for long range battles from multiple vantage points, but there are pockets where close quarters combat still reigns supreme. This level aims to give vehicles the most freedom they can have while maintaining a healthy balance between drivable terrain and infantry cover. In the center you'll find a massive AA cannon contributing to the deadlock between UNSC and Banished forces in the vista. Upon team scoring, it will fire off in celebration.
